Magnetic Fresh-Locker refers to a Haier chilled-storage concept in which a dedicated compartment uses a uniform, steady (weak) magnetic field together with stable temperature control to slow freshness loss in foods—especially fresh meat and seafood. Haier’s description of this approach is that the magnetic field influences water and/or molecular behaviour in the food so that cell damage from ice-crystal formation is reduced and quality is maintained, enabling meat to stay “fresh as new” for up to about 10 days under the stated test/marketing claims
